Maple Grove Softball Edges CP
The Maple Grove softball team edged Champlin Park in a 1-0 thriller.
Crimson second baseman Jade Tomashek hit a solo homerun in the third inning for the game’s only run.
Maple Grove’s Ava Dueck pitched a shutout, striking out 12 Rebels.
Piper Otto of Champlin Park allowed just three hits and struck out six.
