Champlin Park Softball Drops State Quarterfinal Game vs. Farmington
The Champlin Park softball team was shut out in their return to the Class AAAA state tournament. Farmington defeated the Rebels by a score of 4-0 in the quarterfinals.
The Tigers scored in the first inning with a home run from Lila Johannsen. Ava Abrahamson delivered three hits and pitched six innings for the Rebels, allowing ten hits, four runs, and striking out two batters.
Champlin Park – winners of last years Class AAAA state tournament- will now face Edina in the consolation bracket.
