Champlin Park Softball Shuts Out Spring Lake Park in Opening Round of Section 5AAAA Playoffs

Ava Abrahamson pitched a complete game shutout and hit a 2-run home run to lead the Champlin Park softball team to the next round of the Section 5AAAA tournament.

The Rebels scored their first run of the game in the second inning when Addy Andrews hit an RBI groundout.

Right after Abrahamson hit her 2-run homer, June Semling made it back-to-back home runs with a solo shot to left field.

The Rebels will now face top-seeded Rogers on the road on Thursday at 4:30 PM.
