Champlin Park Softball Earns Top Ten Win at Andover
The Champlin Park softball team went on the road and knocked off previously unbeaten Andover by a score of 9-3.
The Rebels’ junior pitcher Marissa Rothenberger went the distance pitching seven innings, striking out 12 batters and only allowing five hits.
Ava Abrahamson led the way at the plate for Champlin Park, going 2-for-3 with 3 RBI’s. Chloe Postma also recorded two RBI’s for the Rebels.
Champlin Park (#5 in AAAA) advances to 4-1 with the win, Andover (#7 in AAAA) falls to 3-1.
