Maple Grove Softball Beats Champlin Park
The Maple Grove softball team beat Champlin Park 4-1 Tuesday for their 12th win of the season.
Maple Grove scored twice in the first inning and added single runs in the fourth and sixth innings.
Crimson pitcher Bella Daniels allowed three hits and struck out eight.
Champlin Park’s only run came on a solo homerun by Abby Meads leading off the fifth inning.
Maple Grove’s Sydney Hockett answered with a solo shot of her own in the bottom of the sixth.
