Maple Grove Boys Soccer Blanks White Bear Lake in Opener
The Maple Grove boys’ soccer team opened the 2022 season Thursday with a 3-0 shutout over White Bear Lake.
Chris Frantz scored twice for the Crimson while Aaron Badillo scored the first goal of the match, off an assist from Frantz.
Beckett Carlson posted the shutout in net for Maple Grove.
The Crimson (1-0-0) play their Northwest Suburban Conference opener Monday at Osseo.
