Maple Grove Boys Soccer Falls to Edina in Class AAA State Championship
The Maple Grove boys soccer team ended their season with a 1-0 loss to Edina in the state class AAA championship game.
Haden Smith scored the lone goal of the game in the 51st minute.
Senior midfielder Everett Johnston had a few opportunities late in the second half, but the Crimson couldn’t cash in.
Maple Grove has now finished as runner-up for a third season in a row.
The Crimson closed out the season with a 15-3-2 record.
