USA Cup: Kickers FC Boys U17 Advance in Round 1 of Silver Playoffs

The Kickers FC Green boys U17 team advanced into the quarterfinal round of the U17 silver playoffs with a 2-1 win over North United SC Gold.

After Dylan Sutherlin netted a goal to give North United a 1-0 advantage, Jonathan Desmond responded with an equalizer in the first half.

Then right before halftime, Ryan Koivu scored on a free kick just outside the box to give the Kickers the lead.

Goalkeeper Drew Yeager came up with some big stops in the second half to hold off North United and secure the 2-1 win.
