Champlin Park Softball Primed for Big Season
The Champlin Park softball team is ranked second in class AAAA coming into what should be a great season for the Rebels.
They return nearly everyone from a 21-4 team last spring.
Three of those four losses were to eventual state AAAA champion Rogers, including a loss in the Section 5AAAA final.
A senior heavy squad knows this is the best chance to become the first Champlin Park softball team ever to reach the state tournament.
The Rebels are scheduled to open the season with a rematch of last season’s Section 5AAAA final when they play at Rogers Thursday April 3rd.
