Champlin Park Softball Shuts Out Maple Grove, Wins Sixth Straight
The Champlin Park softball team won their sixth game in a row, shutting out Maple Grove 2-0 at home.
The Rebels scored the only two runs of the game in the first inning. Reese Reimler brought in Ava Parent on an RBI double and later in the inning Marissa Rothenberger executed a safety squeeze to score Reimler.
Rothenberger also pitched for Champlin Park, allowing just one hit and throwing seven strikeouts in seven innings pitched.
The Rebels are now 11-2 on the season while Maple Grove falls to 8-4.
