Maple Grove Softball Walks Off Centennial in Extras
Emily Gornick’s RBI single to shallow centerfield in the bottom of the eighth inning gave Maple Grove softball a 6-5 win over Centennial.
The Crimson had a three run lead heading into the seventh inning, but Gracie Nickle’s bases clearing double tied the game up at five.
Merrit Walberg earned the win in the circle for Maple Grove, as the Crimson advanced to 7-5 on the season.
