Champlin Park Softball Edges Chaska for 15th Straight Win
To close out the regular season, the Champlin Park softball team won a pitcher’s duel over Chaska, 2-1 and earned their 15th win in a row.
After a triple from Ava Parent, the Rebels got their first run of the game off an RBI single from Reese Reimler in the bottom of the first inning.
Champlin Park didn’t score again until the bottom of the sixth when Amanda Kotsmith crossed home after a bunt by Hannah Husom.
Marissa Rothenberger got the win in the circle, throwing 10 strikeouts and allowing just 3 hits.
