Blaska, Dueck Finalists for Ms. Softball
Holly Blaska of Champlin Park and Ava Dueck of Maple Grove are two of the seven finalists for the Ms. Softball award.
First baseman Blaska hit .597 with 12 homeruns for the Rebels and will play at Miami of Ohio next season.
Dueck pitched the Crimson to their first state championship, and excelled as a hitter, too.
She had a 0.88 ERA and 221 strikeouts as a pitcher, and blasted 16 homeruns as a batter.
The Ms. Softball award will be presented Sunday at Target Field.
The Mr. Baseball award will also be given out that day.
