It’s Time for Unicorn Poop Cupcakes at Nadia Cakes
Unicorn Poop cupcakes are back in time for April Fool’s Day at Nadia Cakes in Maple Grove.
“April Fool’s Day is, believe it our not, our number one holiday of the year,” said Erin Campbell, general manager of the Maple Grove location. “I’ve been with Nadia Cakes for 10 years and I look forward to this event every year. It’s our way of bringing some happiness and sunshine.”

Campbell says the idea originated with knowing their clientele.
“We always say that our customers will come out for anything rainbow or poopy. We actually made our kitty litter before we made unicorn poop and people went insane for kitty poop,” remembers Campbell. “What’s the most mystical creature we can think of? Unicorns. And surprise! They only poop once a year and we’re there to catch it.”
Staff expect to sell upwards of 15,000 cupcakes company wide over the five-day promotional period.
The Unicorn Poop cupcakes are offered in both regular and gluten-free. Not to be overlooked, staff also create six “look-alike” cupcakes that will make your April Fool’s Day jokes sweeter.
