Golden Valley Hires Interim Police Chief
Golden Valley has hired an interim police chief to fill the role while it searches for a permanent replacement.
Scott Nadeau started this month as interim chief. He comes to Golden Valley after having previously served as public safety director for the city of Maplewood.
His experience also includes serving as police chief for the city of Columbia Heights and he spent 20 years working for the Brooklyn Center Police Department.
Nadeau temporarily replaces Jason Sturgis, who retired from the Golden Valley Police Department in August.
