Housing Proposed for Former Ahrens Greenhouse Site in Maple Grove
The Maple Grove Planning Commission recommended approval of a development of 124 homes called Avery Park that could be built on the land where the former Ahrens Greenhouse is located. The homes would be a mix of attached townhomes and detached single-family homes.
The development would help diversify Maple Grove’s housing stock.
Plans call for a total of 124 homes. The development would be a mix of 82 attached townhomes and 42 detached single-family homes that would be single level or two-story homes. The developer, Lakeville-based D.R. Horton, Inc., says the variety offered will appeal to both first-time homebuyers and those wishing to downsize.
