Maple Grove Boys Golf Wins 5AAA Title:

The Maple Grove boys golf team won its third straight Section 5AAA championship Thursday, beating runner-up Spring Lake Park by nine strokes. The Crimson came into the second day of the 36-hole tournament one shot behind the Panthers but overcame the deficit to earn a spot at next month’s state tournament. Aidan Steel led the Crimson Thursday with a one-under par round of 71. Zach Johnson shot a 72, Charlie Steenerson a 75 and Davis Tripp a 77.
