Hopkins Baseball Beats St. Louis Park in Section 6AAAA Play
The Hopkins baseball team advanced to the winner’s bracket final in Section 6AAAA with a 5-1 win over St. Louis Park Wednesday.
The Royals broke open a scoreless game with four runs in the third, scoring on a single, sacrifice fly, and two wild pitches.
Jay Mound pitched six strong innings for the win, allowing one unearned run.
Hopkins faces Edina in the winner’s bracket Saturday.
