West Lutheran Softball Falls to Gentry Academy in 4A Playoffs
The West Lutheran softball team lost to Gentry Academy, 15-5 in the section 4A semifinal.
The Warriors got on the board in the top of the first when Eleanor Rolf knocked in an RBI single.
The Stars rattled off four runs in the bottom of the first, but the Warriors cut the lead down to one in the third when Marissa Tussler and Grace Rolf produced base hits.
Gentry exploded in the fourth inning with eight total runs scored.
West Lutheran will now play next Tuesday in the 4A elimination bracket.
