Wayzata Volleyball Sweeps Champlin Park in Section 5AAAA Final
The Wayzata volleyball team continued a great season by sweeping Champlin Park in the Section 5AAAA final.
The top-seeded Trojans dominated second seed Champlin Park 25-19, 25-17, 25-12.
Wayzata is now 31-0 after the win and will no doubt be the top seed for the state class AAAA tournament.
Wayzata won the state class AAA title in 2019.
COVID-19 forced last year’s tournament to be cancelled.
A fourth class for volleyball was added starting this fall.
