Wayzata Softball Eliminates Edina
The Wayzata softball team eliminated Edina 5-2 in the Section 6AAAA softball tournament Monday.
The Trojans hit three homeruns in the game. Amelia Christenson hit a solo home run in the second inning while Alexa Miller and Olivia Reem each hit two-run homers in the sixth inning to break a 1-1 tie.
Mandy Pelatowski pitched a two-hitter to earn the win for the Trojans.
Wayzata lost 6-4 to Minneapolis Southwest Tuesday afternoon, ending their season with an 11-13 record.
