Wayzata Girls Soccer Eyeing Fourth Consecutive Section Title
The Wayzata girls soccer team is looking to win their fourth straight section championship this year.
The Trojans went 15-1-0 in the regular season and their only loss was to undefeated Edina, but Wayzata believes that loss can help them down the road in the postseason.
Offensively, the Trojans are averaging over four goals a game and are led by their senior forward and University of Minnesota commit, Grace Estby, who’s scored 21 goals this fall.
Defensively, Wayzata has posted nine shutouts and only allowed 17 goals all year. The Trojans earned the number one seed in section 6AAA. They’ll begin postseason play on Thursday against Bloomington Kennedy.
