Wayzata Boys Tennis Set Sights on Repeat of Class AA State Championship
Last spring, the Wayzata boys tennis team won their school’s fifth-ever state championship with a 5-2 win over Rochester Mayo.
The Trojans lost two seniors, Collin Beduhn and Brad Hagan to graduation, but they do return back a solid core from last year’s state tournament team.
Aaron Beduhn, Rishi Ranjith, Tanay Pangaluri, and Jacob Salisbury were all part of Wayzata’s top ten lineup last year and will look to lead the Trojans this year.
Early in the season, Wayzata is focused on finding what players work well together and what roles will be filled in their lineup.
The Trojans will begin their season on April 9th against St. Paul Academy and Summit.
