Wayzata Boys Tennis Beats Edina for Third Straight State Title
The Wayzata boys tennis team scored a 6-1 win over old rival Edina to win the state class AA team title Wednesday.
It’s the third consecutive state title for the Trojans and seventh in program history.
Wayzata won three of the four singles matches and swept the doubles to secure the championship.
Singles and doubles competition is Thursday and Friday at Baseline Tennis Center.
