Wayzata Boys Tennis Sweeps Sartell in State AA Quarterfinals
The Wayzata boys tennis team swept Sartell 7-0 in the quarterfinal round of the state Class AA boys tennis tournament Tuesday morning.
The Trojans won all seven matches in straight sets and lost just eight games total.
Wayzata is the two-time defending state champion and will face Mounds View in the tournament semifinals Wednesday morning.
The team championship is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 pm at Baseline Tennis Center in Minneapolis.
Tournament singles and doubles play is Thursday and Friday.
