Records Fall in 5AAA Track and Field Finals

Several local prep track and field athletes qualified for this week’s state meet with their performances at the Section 5AAA finals.

A handful of new section records were set with the Osseo girls 4 x 100 relay team of Frankie Siaway, Payton Young, Esther Obaye and Daysetta Zulu setting a new Minnesota *all-time* record of 47.06 seconds.

The state track and field meet starts Thursday morning at St. Michael-Albertville High School.
