Osseo, Armstrong Finish in Top 3 at Osseo Invitational Track and Field
The Osseo boys track and field team finished first while the Orioles girls finished second at the annual Osseo Invitational Meet Thursday.
The Osseo boys finished with 109 points, six ahead of runner-up Eden Prairie.
Armstrong placed third for the boys with 82 team points.
In the girls meet Rogers took first with 110 points. Osseo was second with 96 points and Centennial third with 89.5 points.
Among the winners were Armstrong’s Mykhailo Protsenko who won both the boys discus and shotput.
Osseo’s Payton Young won the girls 100 meters and the long jump, setting a new school record with a jump of 19 feet, 4.75 inches.
