Park Center Wrestling Beats Osseo, Maple Grove in 279 Tri Meet
The Park Center wrestling team beat Osseo 50-19 and Maple Grove 36-26 to go 2-0 at the District 279 tri meet Friday at Maple Grove High School.
The Pirates won the first six matches to take a 32-0 lead on the way to the win over Osseo.
They again started fast in the lighter weights against Maple Grove, building a 22-0 lead with five straight wins.
Maple Grove battled back to within five points but Park Center won two of the last three matches to secure the win.
Maple Grove beat Osseo 58-14 in the final match of the night.
