Maple Grove Girls Lacrosse Punches State Ticket
The Maple Grove girls lacrosse team punched its ticket to the state tournament Wednesday.
The Crimson defeated Buffalo 9-6 in a good battle for the Section 8 championship.
Maple Grove built a 5-2 halftime lead before the teams each scored four times in the second half.
Emily Herdine scored six goals for the Crimson.
Maple Grove will play in its third consecutive state tournament.
