Maple Grove Girls Lacrosse Beats Champlin Park in Section Semifinals
The Maple Grove girls lacrosse team dominated most of the night on the way to a 10-3 win over Champlin Park in the Section 5 semifinals after an hour and forty-five minute weather delay.
Ryley Dunn scored five goals on the night for the Crimson, who led 2-1 after one quarter and 5-2 at halftime.
Alayna Roehl scored all three goals for the Rebels.
Maple Grove’s Anna Bauerly did a great job shadowing Champlin Park 74-goal scorer Reese Hagenbart, helping to keep Hagenbart scoreless.

Second seed Maple Grove now hosts fourth seed Benilde-St. Margaret’s in the section final after the Red Knights knocked off top seed Wayzata.
