Maple Grove Girls Lacrosse Falls to Prior Lake
The Maple Grove girls lacrosse team fell to second seed Prior Lake 19-6 in the state quarterfinals.
The Lakers scored three goals in the first eight minutes and built an 11-4 halftime lead.
Maple Grove’s Chloe Corbin, Emily Herdine, and Katie Wheeler each scored two goals.
Josie Kropp had four goals for Prior Lake.
Four other players scored three times for the Lakers.
Maple Grove meets Forest Lake in the consolation bracket Thursday morning at 11:00.
