Maple Grove Boys Soccer Shuts Out Irondale in Playoff Opener
The Maple Grove boys soccer team took care of business in the Section 5AAA quarterfinals Tuesday, scoring three goals in each half to beat Irondale 6-0.
Parker Carlson scored two goals for the Crimson, who earned the top seed for the tournament. Ousman Touray had a goal and two assists.
Maple Grove hosts Champlin Park in the semifinals Thursday in a rematch of last season’s section final.
