Maple Grove Boys Soccer Prepares for State Tournament Trip
The Maple Grove boys soccer team is headed to the state tournament for a fourth consecutive season.
The Crimson beat Mounds View 2-1 to win the Section 5AAA title.
They also had to rally from a 2-0 deficit to edge Champlin Park in the semifinals.
Maple Grove is 13-2-2 coming into the class AAA tournament.
They were runnerup at state the past two seasons.
Teams will be seeded Saturday and Maple Grove will find out its quarterfinal opponent and game site that day.
