Maple Grove Boys Soccer Edges Centennial in Overtime
The Maple Grove boys soccer team survived a tough challenge on the road, edging Centennial 3-2 in overtime.
The Crimson moved into the top spot in the state class AAA rankings this week.
Chris Frantz scored all three goals for the Crimson, the first two on penalty kicks.
Aaron Badillo set Frantz up with a great pass in the second overtime and Frantz buried the game-winner.
Maple Grove improved to 11-0 with the win.
