Maple Grove Boys Soccer Aims High
The Maple Grove boys soccer team is aiming high this season.
The Crimson lost just one time in the COVID-19 shortened 2020 season, and they won the Section 8AA championship.
There was no state tournament last fall due to the pandemic.
Seven starters return from that team, although they lost some goal-scoring punch to graduation.
Midfielder Damon Humphrey, midfielder/forward Chris Frantz, goalkeeper Holden Waldrum, and defender Teddy Miller are key returners.
After winning the Section 8AA title in three of the past four seasons, Maple Grove moves into Section 5AA for the postseason this fall.
