Local Track and Field Athletes Excel at Hamline Elite Meet
Several local girls excelled with their track and field performances Friday night at the annual Hamline Elite Meet in St. Paul.
Maple Grove’s Jordyn Borsch won both the girls 200 meter dash (25.8 seconds) and the 400 (56.88).
Sydney Drevlow of Hopkins won the girls’ 1600 meter race in 4:56.52.
Wayzata’s Teegan Anderson finished second in the 800 with a time of 2:16.29. Anderson also ran the anchor leg for the Trojans’ 4 x 800 relay team that placed second.
In the field events Champlin Park’s Adison Kapitze finished second in both the shotput (40 feet, 5.75 inches) and discus (130’ 6”)
