Hopkins Softball Blanks Wayzata
Cassidy Allen and Signe Dohse combined to throw a shutout as the Hopkins softball team blanked Wayzata 10-0 in five innings.
Doshe struck out five Wayzata batters in two innings of pitching in relief of Allen.
Katie Shatirishvillie hit a three-run homer in the fourth inning and Delaney Lindstrom drove in two runs to lead the Hopkins’ offensive attack.
With the win, the Royals improved to 13-4 on the season. Wayzata falls to 8-11.
