The Heritage Christian Academy baseball team beat West Lutheran 4-3 in MCAA play Friday night.
The teams each scored single runs in the first and second innings, leaving the game tied 2-2 through four innings.
Carter Anderson bounced a hit through the infield for West Lutheran to score Sam Perry to put the Warriors ahead 3-2 in the fifth.
Heritage answered with two in the bottom of the fifth, with the go-ahead run scoring on an errant pickoff throw.
Jonah Moulton came on in relief for Heritage to retire all six batters he faced, earning the save.
Aaron Palmer pitched the first five innings to earn the win.
Heritage improved to 5-2 with the win; West Lutheran dropped to 1-5.
