Big First Inning Lifts Heritage Christian Academy to Rematch Win over Spectrum
A seven-run first inning was a big reason for Heritage Christian Academy’s rematch win over Spectrum on Thursday.
The Eagles lost to the Sting eight days ago on the road, but a quick start propelled HCA to a 13-7 win.
Heritage rattled off a total of fifteen hits on the day with three hits each coming from Griffin Booms, Drew Francis, and Jonah Moulton. Booms led the way with three RBI’s.
Moulton also started on the mound and threw nine strikeouts in five innings pitched.
With the win, Heritage Christian Academy improves its record to 12-4 on the season.
