CCX Sports Spotlight: Chris Frantz, Maple Grove Boys Soccer
In this week’s CCX Sports Spotlight John Jacobson profiles Maple Grove boys soccer player Chris Frantz.
The junior broke the school’s single season record for goals scored in a season, set by Chad Morse in the late 1990s.
Frantz scored 32 regular season goals in just 14 matches.
The top-ranked Crimson lost their only match of the year in the Section 5AAA semifinals, losing 5-4 to Mounds View Thursday night and ending their season.
