CCX Sports Spotlight: Beckett Carlson, Maple Grove Boys Soccer
In this week’s CCX Sports Spotlight, John Jacobson profiles Maple Grove boys’ soccer goalie Beckett Carlson.
The senior has allowed just three goals all season and has delivered on offense too. Carlson’s netted five goals in five penalty kick attempts this season.
Beckett’s father Matt played for Osseo in the early 1990s and his grandfather Cookie Carlson was a long-time coach at Orono and more recently at Southwest Christian.
The Crimson are 14-0-1 heading into next week’s section playoffs.
