Armstrong Softball Rolls Past Rival Cooper
The Armstrong softball team scored nine runs in the first inning on the way to a 13-1 win in five innings over Robbinsdale district rival Cooper Friday.
The Falcons sent 12 batters to the plate in the big first inning, which featured the first five batters reaching base and scoring.
Sydney Primmer pitched the five inning complete game for the Falcons and also had a two-run double.
Playoffs get started this week for both teams. Armstrong is in Section 6AAAA and Cooper in Section 6AAA.
