Armstrong Softball Blanks Park Center
Lexi Madson doubled twice and homered to help lead the Armstrong softball team to a 16-0, four-inning win over Park Center.
Madson’s three-run homer in the bottom of the fourth inning ended the game with the 15-run mercy rule.
The Falcons scored five runs in the first inning, two in the second, three in the third and six in the fourth.
Armstrong is now 2-2 in the Northwest Suburban conference and 2-4 overall.
Park Center, fielding a varsity team for the first time in three years, drops to 0-6 on the season.
