Plymouth Brewery Ventures into Coffee Business
Luce Line Brewing Co. in Plymouth is getting into the coffee business, another way craft breweries are diversifying.
Luce Line will be serving up everything from light roasts and dark roasts to a full line of espresso drinks and iced coffees.
“All the beans were selected. We’ve put together our own brand,” said Tim Naumann, owner of Luce Line Brewing. “We haven’t named it yet. We’re still working on it. We sort of took the craft idea into coffee and felt like if we’re going to do it, we better do it to the Luce Line quality level.”
OMNI Brewing Co. in Maple Grove and Wicked Wort Brewing Co. in Robbinsdale are others that have ventured into the house-roasted coffee business.
Mother’s Day Event
Meanwhile, if you’re thinking about Mother’s Day plans, the Plymouth brewery and taproom has you covered there, too.
Luce Line Brewing is hosting free yoga from 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. on Mother’s Day, May 11.
It’s also hosting a marketplace featuring 16 vendors offering a wide variety of gifts for mom. A food truck will also be there to serve up a Mexican-style brunch.
