Owners of Nonna Rosa’s Sell Robbinsdale Restaurant
The owners of Nonna Rosa’s Ristorante Italiano have thrown in the towel, so to speak.
“2020 has been the year that has changed us all” said owner Tina Suglia in a press release. “Despite the challenges this year brought with the COVID-19 epidemic, we continued to operate and felt so appreciated by our loyal customers as they continued to support us during this trying time. We will miss our neighbors, family, and friends as we take a professional break to focus on our own family. We look forward to our new title, Founders, as we wish the best of luck to the new owner and his team!”
Suglia has operated the downtown Robbinsdale restaurant with her husband, Francesco, for the last 10 years.
The new ownership company, Minnesota Restaurant Group, led by President Jesse Pfliger, will take over officially on Monday, Oct. 12. Suglia says that the goal is to maintain the current team, the food quality and of course the warmth and hospitality that the diners come for.
Any standing reservations will be honored, along with all gift cards and catering ordered.
Suglia’s last day in the restaurant will be Sunday, and she says they will be saying lots of goodbyes before then.
