New Restaurant “The Bulldog” Coming to Downtown Robbinsdale
The Bulldog plans to open a location in downtown Robbinsdale in late fall. The owners have ties to Robbinsdale. They believe the former Canton Garden location is the perfect fit for their casual dining restaurant.
When the Canton Garden property on West Broadway became available, Joshua Dykhuis from The Bulldog knew they couldn’t pass it up.
“We have passed over a few other opportunities. But when 4153 West Broadway became a possibility, Jeff and I knew that this was it,” said Dykhuis in an introductory letter to the city council. Jeff refers to Jeff Kaster, one of the owners.
The restaurant offers American classic food and a comprehensive beer list. The owners plan to provide a dining experience that caters to families and people who want casual dining.
The owners do plan an extensive renovation of the old Canton Garden. If all goes according to plan, they hope to be open by late fall.
