Mount Olivet Lutheran Church Celebrates 10 Years of Blues, Brews N BBQs

Mount Olivet Lutheran Church is celebrating 10 years of its Blues, Brews N BBQs fundraiser.

“We are so excited to be celebrating 10 years,” said Diane Dickmeyer, organizer.

This year it’s hosting the event at Luce Line Brewing in Plymouth on Aug. 7.

“Blues Brews N BBQs seemed like the perfect opportunity to get to know our community and have some awesome live music in our space for the first time,” said Hannah Vogel from Luce Line Brewing Co. “We decided to brew a special beer specifically for Blues, Brews N BBQs. It’s going to be a blond wheat beer.”

There will be live music and this year there’s free admission too.

The fundraiser benefits PRISM, Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity, and Loaves and Fishes.
