Update: Maple Grove Homicide Victim Identified
There’s new details into the investigation of a man found dead at a Maple Grove park.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner says the man died of multiple gunshot wounds. Someone walking in the Lakeview Knolls Park spotted the man’s body Tuesday morning. Authorities identified the man as 26-year-old Dayton Rossetti of Minneapolis.
Police say the circumstances surrounding the case indicate “criminal drug activity.” Maple Grove police continue to investigate.

It’s been a particularly busy week for Maple Grove police. Tuesday’s case is the second death investigation within the last week. Last week, a man was arrested for killing his mother and injuring his father.
