Crystal Swears-In New Council Members
At this week’s Crystal City Council meeting, new council members took their oaths of office.
Traci Kamish will represent Ward 2 and Forest Eidbo will represent Section 2. Therese Kiser is also back for another term, representing Ward 1.
There was dissention and quite a bit of discussion between council members over the Mayor’s appointments for mayor pro tem and as liaisons to different commissions and committees. Some of the tension centered around who would serve on the newly formed Inclusion and Diversity Commission. David Cummings will be the council member who will serve in the position, but any council members or the mayor can attend the meetings.
