Boy Injured in Crystal Apartment Shooting
A Thursday night shooting inside a Crystal apartment sent a boy to the hospital.
Crystal police said they received a call about a shooting inside a unit at the 5240 Apartments along West Broadway shortly before 11 p.m.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a boy in the parking lot with a gunshot wound. First responders treated him at the scene and transported him to the hospital.
Police say the boy’s wound is non-life-threatening and that he is expected to survive his injuries.
Investigators said the incident does not appear to be random and don’t believe there is any danger to the public.
Police didn’t provide any details about the circumstances of the shooting, but asked that anyone with information to call the Crystal Police Department‘s tip line at (763) 531-1020.
