Boy Injured in Crystal Apartment Shooting
A Thursday night shooting inside a Crystal apartment sent a boy to the hospital.
Crystal police said they received a call about a shooting inside a unit at the 5240 Apartments along West Broadway shortly before 11 p.m.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a boy in the parking lot with a gunshot wound. First responders treated him at the scene and transported him to the hospital.
Police say the boy’s wound is non-life-threatening and that he is expected to survive his injuries.
Investigators said the incident does not appear to be random and don’t believe there is any danger to the public.
